Terms of Service
Last updated 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
My Trade Log ("the service") is a trading journal and performance analytics tool. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country of residence.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account — access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Prices may change; we will give notice before a change applies to your next renewal.
4. Refunds
We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. This includes unused time on a monthly or annual subscription, accidental renewals, partial periods after a cancellation, and any dissatisfaction with the service. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Your data
Your trades, notes, charts and screenshots remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display that content back to you so the service can work.
We do not sell your journal data. You can delete your entries, or your whole account, at any time.
6. Broker links
The service lets you register brokerage accounts so executions can be tagged to the right book. You should only record account labels and reference numbers — never passwords, API secrets or other credentials.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any broker. Broker-linked data is provided for record-keeping and review; always treat your broker's own statements as the authoritative record.
7. Not financial advice
My Trade Log is a record-keeping and analytics tool. Nothing in the service is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and no metric, rating or flag is a recommendation to enter or exit any position. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and past performance does not indicate future results. All trading decisions are yours alone.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer it, no unauthorised access to other users' data, no unlawful content, and no reselling or redistributing the service without our written permission.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may cause interruptions. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if required by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support through the address listed in your account settings.
